LIFT Conference - Fellowship

A couple of weeks ago I applied for a fellowship of the Gebert Rüf Stiftung, to be able to go to LIFT Conference in Geneva on February 6-8 next year.

LIFT is "a series of events gathering oberservers, explorers, and builders from around the world to discuss the current challenges and creative solutions presented by emerging technologies". It is a very young conference, which was held in 2006 for the first time. It happens twice a year in Seoul, Korea and Geneva, Switzerland. Some very interesting people already signed up, 209 so far.

The Gebert Rüf Stiftung is a foundation that supports "innovation by fostering new approaches and chosen individuals" with CHF 10 million a year. It was founded by entrepreneur Heinrich Gebert in 1997.

And I am one of the 20 students who won there! Thanks to lift and Gebert Rüf for making this possible! Already looking forward to February!
